Policy & Activism

The Policy & Activism programme is focused on funding NGOs, interest groups and think-tanks that are working to influence decision-making, whether broadly relating to climate policy or at a project-level to halt activities that directly worsen the climate crisis.

The first funds will be distributed for this programme in 2024, with a focus on campaigns and projects with verifiable impact. All applications will be evaluated by Board Member and Programme Esther Michelsen Kjeldahl and an independent 4-member committee, with experience in fields of climate policy and activism.

“To confront the scale of the challenge of the climate crisis, we need climate justice activists, grant-giving organisations, frontline communities and policy-makers to collaborate. I look forward to working with grantees through the Askehave Climate Foundation to enable this collaboration and cooperation.”

Esther Michelsen Kjeldahl

We are not currently reviewing applications for this programme. Applications will be open during 2023 and charities, NGOs, think-tanks will be selected by the Programme expert and invited to apply.
